Carver has some of the better boat space designers in the industry, they manage to get a lot of usable space in a package without a lot of overall length. Carver always puts together a good value package, especially if you find one a few years old.

The 444 is a fully functional yacht sporting plenty of space, a good turn of speed, and all the comforts of home.

This Carver has 370 hp Cummins diesels providing a respectable cruising speed in the low 20-knot range. At the helm, noise is minimal and the view fowrad and aft is complete.  The 444 topped out at 25 knots, an impressive speed considering the full tanks and condo-like amenities.

Access to the engine room is through the saloon sole. Most systems are easy to service, including the Racor filters. Items that require routine checks under way, such as fuel filters, are very accessible. The engine area is well finished and very clean.

The 444's soft entry into the chop is partly due to her tough, solid fiberglass bottom. The absence of core eliminates the risk of underwater penetration around the through-hulls and lowers the center of gravity, giving the 444 her authority in bumpy seas. The deck and hull sides are cored, reducing weight above the waterline and dampening roll. An all-fiberglass stringer system, hand-laminated into the hull, is a big plus. Multi-directional cloth prevents resin pockets and provides strength.

Don't miss this Yacht, The last Carver of this size and aft cockpit sold

to the very first couple that came to visit and

this Carver is even nicer and newer.
